Life can be complicated, we all have ups and downs but sometimes the hard moments become a struggle and affect our quality of life. You may be feeling overwhelmed by difficult emotions, past experiences, family or relationship issues - Counselling can help.
As a person-centred counsellor, I offer a supportive and empathic space for you to express yourself freely and gain deeper self-awareness. Therapy is a collaborative relationship, together, we can identify your challenges, gain understanding and work towards an improved sense of well-being.
"When we make space to process our emotions we open ourselves up to growth and healing."
There are times in our lives when we may feel stuck - you may be experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma or other challenges, I will work with you to identify your goals. Together we can work towards reaching some understanding, acceptance and perspective to help you move forwards.
Often our coping mechanisms - our defences - are born from self-protection. With curiosity and compassion we can explore the root of these behaviours, how past and present experiences have shaped you.
I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship is a unique connection - where you can truly be yourself, no judgement, no criticism, only understanding and being truly heard.
